"Guess what?" Eva said that night at the dinner table.

"What, princess?" Tony replied as he passed the rolls to her brother.

"I'm going to be part of a mock jury in class this week!"

"Wow, princess, that's a really big responsibility! I know you'll do your best to be fair and impartial."

Eva nodded, "Of course, Daddy."

Ethan gave a snort, eyeing his little sister, "I bet she's gonna try to boss everyone around."

"Ethan!" Pepper said, "That's not a very nice thing to say about your sister!"

"Yeah, Eta, that wasn't very nice!" Eva said, turning a glare on her brother.

Ethan raised his hands in surrender, "Okay, I was just kidding around!"

"Well, I agree with your Mom and sister, champ. That joke wasn't a very nice one."

"Sorry."

Pepper turned back to her daughter, "Being on a mock jury sounds fun, sweetie, but I hope you remember to take it a little seriously too."

Eva nodded, "I will, Mommy."
